A Maricopa woman is accused of causing damage to her husband’s work truck, followed by an alleged assault on the husband on Sunday night, Maricopa police said.

According to officers’ probable-cause statement:

Alina B. Maiers was arrested and booked into Pinal County Jail. She faces charges assault (domestic violence), disorderly conduct (domestic violence), and criminal damage.

At about 12:15 a.m., officers responded to a residence on West Hayden Drive about a disturbance.

The incident involved a man and his wife, identified by police as Maiers.

The man reported that he and Maiers had been drinking at a friend’s house, and that his wife had gotten upset because she believed he was cheating on her.

When they got home, according to the husband, Maiers broke the side mirror and smashed the windshield of her husband’s work truck.

Officers observed the side mirror and windshield broken.

Maiers continued yelling at her husband, grabbing and pulling his right arm while he was on the phone. She then pushed the left side of his neck.

Maiers told officers that she and her husband were arguing, and that she broke the vehicle’s side mirror and hit the windshield with her hand. Maiers advised that she never touched her husband during the argument.
