One person was killed and two others were injured seriously Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash near West Louis Johnson Drive and North White and Parker Road, according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. 

Maricopa Fire and Medical Department responded in mutual aid to the 10 a.m. crash, according to Monica Williams, a spokesperson for Maricopa Emergency Services. 

One person was transported by air to a hospital and a third injured person was transported by ground ambulance.  

PCSO has not yet released names of those involved. 

The crash is under investigation by the Pinal County Vehicular Crimes Task Force, according to Pinal County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lauren Reimer.
