Westbound Interstate 10 will be closed between US 60 (Superstition Freeway) and State Route 143 from 10 p.m. June 9 to 4 a.m. June 12 for work on the I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project.  

The following ramps will be closed: 

  • Westbound I-10 on-ramps at Elliott and Baseline roads.  
  • Westbound US 60 on-ramps at McClintock Drive, Rural Road and Mill Avenue. 

The westbound I-10 off-ramp at 40th Street will be closed until July for reconstruction. 

As a detour, drivers on westbound I-10 can consider using eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) or eastbound US 60 to northbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) to westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway). Travelers heading to the West Valley can consider westbound/northbound Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) to reach I-10 near 59th Avenue.  

Westbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) will be closed between Mesa Drive and Interstate 10 from 9 p.m.June 9 to 5 a.m. June 12 for a pavement improvement project. 

The following ramps will be closed: 

  • Westbound US 60 on-ramps at Gilbert Road and Stapley Drive.  
  • Loop 101 ramps to westbound US 60. 

As a detour, drivers can consider using westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain or Santan freeways) as alternate routes. 

Southbound Interstate 17 closed between Loop 101 and Thunderbird Road from 9 p.m. June 9 to 5 a.m. June 12 for a pavement improvement project.  

The following ramps will be closed:  

  • Both Loop 101 ramps to southbound I-17. 
  • Southbound I-17 on-ramps at Pinnacle Peak and Deer Valley roads plus Rose Garden Lane.  

As a detour, drivers can consider using eastbound Loop 101 to southbound State Route 51 as an alternate freeway route to the downtown Phoenix area. Southbound I-17 drivers also can consider exiting ahead of the closure and using southbound 19th Avenue to travel beyond the closure.

Eastbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) will be closed between Priest Drive and Loop 101 (Price Freeway) in the Tempe area from 9 p.m. June 9 to 5 a.m. June 12 for a pavement improvement project. 

Eastbound Loop 202 on-ramps from northbound SR 143, eastbound Sky Harbor Boulevard and Van Buren/52nd streets. 

As a detour, consider using eastbound I-10 to eastbound US 60 as an alternate freeway route. 

Eastbound Loop 303 will be closed between Lake Pleasant Parkway and I-17 from 8 p.m. June 9 to 6 p.m. June 10 for new interchange construction. Westbound Loop 303 will also be closed between I-17 and Lake Pleasant Parkway from 7 p.m. June 10 to 5 a.m. June 12. 

I-10 narrowed to one lane in both directions in areas between Watson Road and SR 85 in Buckeye from 4 a.m. June 10 to 4 p.m. June 11.  

ADOT suggests drivers allow extra travel time and use caution in all work zones.
