The city of Maricopa today announced its inaugural Wild West Music Fest, an event that will be held to commemorate the city’s 20th anniversary.

The festival will take place at Copper Sky Recreation Park from Oct. 13 to 15.

Organized by the city and Steve LeVine Entertainment, Wild West Music Fest is a family-friendly festival that will feature national and local entertainment, food trucks and other vendors, and attractions to pay tribute to the early Stagecoach days of the city which date back to the 1950s.

“As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the city of Maricopa, we are incredibly excited to introduce our first Wild West Music Fest, our new signature event that will bring our community together to mark an exciting chapter in our city’s history,” Mayor Nancy Smith said in a statement. “This festival will be a fantastic addition to our celebratory activities, offering both residents and visitors the opportunity to experience exceptional music, thrilling entertainment and the beginning of a cherished tradition.”

Wild West Music Fest will focus on the community, providing local businesses and residents with a celebration of music, entertainment, and all that Maricopa has to offer.

“We are honored to present the inaugural Wild West Music Fest in collaboration with the city of Maricopa as part of their 20th-anniversary celebration,” Steve LeVine, CEO of Steve LeVine Entertainment, said in a statement.

LeVine is the man behind Chandler’s annual Ostrich Festival, a carnival that pays tribute to the city’s early history of ostrich ranching.

“Our goal is to deliver an exceptional and family-friendly experience, featuring outstanding musical performances, a vibrant festival atmosphere and an unforgettable experience to the Maricopa community,” LeVine said.
