Maricopa Police Department has released the names of two people arrested during a SWAT team’s search of a Heritage District home Wednesday.
The Pinal County Regional SWAT team assisted MPD detectives in arresting Jesi A. Garcia, 38, and David Fryer, 61, during a search warrant and “narcotics investigation” on the 20000 block of Taft Avenue, according to MPD spokesperson Monica Williams.
Garcia was booked into the Pinal County Jail on charges of possessing narcotic drugs, drug paraphernalia and shoplifting, and two other bench warrants.
She has been arrested 10 times before on charges of drug possession, theft and trespassing, according to public court records.
Fryer was booked on “various drug charges,” Williams said. His charges were not immediately available.
“The SWAT team was deployed for the execution of the search warrant due to potential risk at this residence, Williams said. “This is standard.”
