Correction: An earlier version of this story misstated the open house start time. It is 6 p.m.

The city of Maricopa and Western Pinal County will present results from a transportation plan study to the community during an open house at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Maricopa Library and Cultural Center.

The open house will feature a presentation on current and proposed transportation within Maricopa and parts of western Pinal County. The presentation will include information on current needs, anticipated growth and results from a community survey performed in January.

Areas included in the study are Maricopa, Ak-Chin Indian Community and Hidden Valley.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide input on the transportation issues that matter to them, as well as offer feedback on the results shown in the presentation.

The open house will be held in the library’s Redwood Room. For more information, visit the city’s website.
