The couple involved in a suspected murder-suicide in Desert Cedars Wednesday have been identified as Matthew and Vanessa Palma Padzunas, both 37.
They were reportedly estranged. Matthew Padzunas is believed to have killed Vanessa and then himself, friends said.
Maricopa Police were called to the home around midday. They continue to investigate how and why events transpired.
They leave behind three young children, who have been taken in by family. Though they have no material needs, those wishing to contribute may drop off gift cards at the InMaricopa office, 44400 W. Honeycutt Road, Suite 101.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to help offset costs for Vanessa Palma’s funeral and travel expenses for the children to attend the funeral in New Jersey.
