A two-vehicle crash outside La Quinta Inn sent emergency crews to the scene early this afternoon.
The collision occurred at 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of John Wayne Parkway and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to Phoenix Regional Dispatch. A silver Jeep Grand Cherokee and a black Ford Fusion were the two cars involved in the crash, said a hotel guest who witnessed it while turning into the property.
The Ford, which sustained front driver’s side damage, came to rest in a ditch at the bottom of a rocky hill east of the parkway. The Jeep was idle in the roadway.
