A sunny and pleasant weekend is forecast for Maricopa, but the weather may turn cooler with a chance of rain next week, according to the National Weather Service.

Today is sunny, and the expected high is 68. Overnight, skies will remain clear as the low will be around 40.

Friday is likely to be sunny with a high near 70 and breezes up to 10 mph. The overnight low is predicted to be around 39.

Saturday also has a sunny forecast, with the high reaching 73. The overnight low may be around 41.

Sunday will be sunny and fairly warm, with a high of 77. The nighttime low is expected to be around 46, but winds of 10-15 mph will move in and gust as high as 20 mph.

Next week starts with a 20% chance of rain Monday as nights edge progressively toward freezing.
