Police and family members are searching for a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing yesterday evening from Maricopa’s Homestead neighborhood.
Chiquita Stevenson Masden said her daughter Navaeh Marie left home on foot around 6 p.m. and has not returned. Security cameras in the neighborhood captured her walking with two other kids who are unknown to the family.
Neighbors later reported seeing her walking with a boy and a girl toward Pacana Park around 8 p.m.
Navaeh is described as 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds, wearing gray shorts, a black T-shirt and black Crocs.
The Maricopa Police Department has been notified and is assisting in the search, said Masden this morning. Navaeh will be expected at Desert Sunrise High School on Monday.
Anyone with information about Navaeh’s whereabouts or who may have security footage from the area around Pacana Park can contact MPD at 520-568-3673.
