Maricopans may be getting some nasty weather this weekend, forecasters say.

Enhanced potential exists for widespread heavy rain and flooding across all of southeastern Arizona on Friday and Saturday.

Strong thunderstorm outflow winds and blowing dust may be possible this afternoon and evening.

A flood alert has been issued for central Arizona, including Arizona City, Silverbell, Red Rock and surrounding areas. Drivers should be prepared for flooding and road closures.
