The black-and-white view of Maricopa High School was taken in 1998 by Gray Photographs of Phoenix. The high school, which opened in 1955 with a freshman class of 35 students, had about 300 students at the time. (District enrollment is about 7,600 today.) The drone photo taken in April shows how much the school has expanded in the last 23 years, including the addition of Ram Stadium.
