Another day, another road restriction.
Arizona Department of Transportation crews will narrow John Wayne Parkway between Smith Enke and Lakeview Drive to two lanes for several hours Monday.
The lane restriction will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day so crews can complete median work, ADOT officials said.
Weekend lane restrictions
This is the second round of lane restrictions slated along Maricopa’s main drag in a week. Other restrictions will affect Lakeview and Cobblestone Farms drives tonight and Saturday.
Eastbound Cobblestone Farms Drive will be closed from John Wayne Parkway to Grand View, as well as the left-turn lane on northbound John Wayne Parkway. As a detour, drivers may use South Cobblestone Farms Drive to access State Route 347.
Westbound Lakeview Drive will also be closed from John Wayne Parkway to Rancho El Dorado Parkway, as well as the left-turn lanes on southbound John Wayne Parkway. As a detour, drivers may use Rancho El Dorado Parkway to Vintage Drive to Smith-Enke Road to get on SR 347.
