The Maricopa High School softball team celebrated its seniors on Thursday with a game against the Tucson High Badgers.

The Rams lost the Senior Day matchup, 8-3, dropping their overall record to 4-4.

Seniors Shayla Barry, Hailey Blackwell, Ferny Carias, Gillian Gardner, Karyn Meier, Miquela Pino and Evone Santiago are playing their final season for the Rams.

The team next plays the Basha High School Bears in an away game at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a doubleheader at Cibola High School on Wednesday. First game is 1 p.m.
