An apparent single-vehicle crash near Stagestop Marketplace ended with a vehicle in a ditch.

Maricopa police and fire crews responded to the intersection of Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway and Plainview Street at 9:27 p.m., according to Phoenix Regional Dispatch.

Reporters on the scene saw a lonesome dark Mazda sedan disabled in the ditch near the intersection. Police took photos of the vehicle, while an ambulance remained at the scene.

This incident comes just a day after another apparent single-vehicle crash that hospitalized a motorcyclist who ended up off the roadway about a quarter mile west.
