Maricopa police and fire crews responded to a car versus motorcycle collision on State Route 238 tonight. 

First responders arrived at SR 238 and Loma Road around 9 p.m. 

At about 9:10 p.m., two ambulances and fire crews were seen leaving the scene. The motorcycle remained on the shoulder. 

Injuries are unknown at this time. However, both the motorcyclist and their passenger were “conscious and alert” when one of them dialed 9-1-1, according to MPD spokesperson Monica Williams.
