WZ Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar soon will be coming to the city, according to a social-media post Friday by Maricopa’s Development Services Department.

The pan-Asian restaurant is currently undergoing building-permit review for a tentative location in the Cobblestone Fiesta Shopping Center, at 21756 N. John Wayne Pkwy. The permit will be reviewed during Tuesday’s Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.

The restaurant wants the space north of Karsten’s Ace Hardware, previously occupied by a dry cleaner. The space spans approximately 2,500 square feet and was vacated over a year ago.
