No one was injured after a car was driven into a lake in the Villages at Rancho El Dorado Tuesday night.

Just before 8:30 p.m., Maricopa police and fire crews responded to the community lake on a report of a car that had had gone off the roadway and entered the water, according to public safety spokesperson Monica Williams. She said the vehicle was not completely submerged.

“It was quickly stabilized by MFMD crews and the driver was helped from the vehicle, Williams said. “No one was injured.”
