Is it cash time in Maricopa? Not yet, but maybe soon.
Scottsdale-based Cash Time Loan Centers proposes filling an empty suite at Maricopa Business Center, 44480 W. Honeycutt Road, according to documents released to InMaricopa today.
The new storefront would sit between A B Check Cashing and Impressive Imaging, inside the former administrative offices of the Maricopa Church of Celebration.
Cash Time Loan Centers intends to install an illuminated sign at Suite 103, which looks akin to signage at the business’s 15 other Arizona locations. While a wall sign permit has yet to be issued, the city approved a commercial certificate of occupancy Wednesday.
The company provides emergency, same-day cash loans through personal, registration and auto title loans. It also provides online loans and refinancing options.
InMaricopa has contacted Cash Time Loan Centers for an opening date.
Maricopa is home to at least two other payday loan companies: Check Into Cash, which offers payday and title loans near Fry’s Marketplace, and Loan Till Payday at the Maricopa Fiesta.
