After a very warm Friday, Maricopa’s weather is expected to cool through the weekend and into next week, which should then bring some showers, according to the National Weather Service.

Today is mostly sunny with a high around 82. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 55.

Friday is expected to change from partly sunny to sunny with a high near 87 and increasing winds. The overnight low will be around 52.

Saturday, the forecast sees a sunny day with a high near 84 and winds of 5-15 mph gusting up to 20 mph. The day will likely end as mostly cloudy, with a low around 54.

Sunday will be partly sunny with a high near 73. The nighttime low will drop to around 48 under mostly clear skies.

Next week has a likelihood of rain from Monday night through Thursday morning with high temperatures in the 70s.
