Season 4 of Dancing For Our Stars delivered ‘an unforgettable evening’

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sun Corridor hosted its fourth annual Dancing for Our Stars gala in Maricopa Saturday.

The evening began in style with a red-carpet reception. A VIP meet-and-greet followed at, giving sponsors and supporters the chance to mingle with the evening’s “celebrity” dancers before the ballroom doors opened and dinner was served.

The energy peaked when the ballroom lights dimmed and the show began featuring nine high energy, heartfelt performances by the local celebrities paired with professional dancers. Each team committed more than 20 hours of rehearsal time in the weeks leading up to the show.

The event drew more than 600 attendees, with hundreds more viewers joining via livestream. Dancing for Our Stars 4 raised $150,000 in support of the clubs’ mission to inspire and enable young people across Pinal County.

The evening concluded with a VIP afterparty.

“It’s incredible to see the leaders of our community come together, entertain and really put themselves out there all for an amazing cause,” said Addie Young, board member and event chair. “The audience was invested and loved every minute of it.”

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sun Corridor announced that Dancing for Our Stars will return for its fifth season March 28, 2026.

Dance team competitors and ‘friend-raisers’

The Season 4 lineup featured the following dance teams:

  1. Jeremy Waters & Mindy Melillo
  2. Annie Giagni & DJ Giagni
  3. Rusty Akers & Alyssa Mangum
  4. Amy Breitkreitz-Powell & Corrie Lemberg
  5. Bob Quinones & Lilly Lawson
  6. Priscilla Behnke & Daniel Kent
  7. Dr. Karen Kramarczyk & Ally Cruz
  8. Denee Kramer & Amy Flasher
  9. Javier Castellanos & Krisenna Hancock

Awards and judges

As the final bows were taken, four awards were presented:

  • Top friend-raiser (Mirror Ball Award): Rusty Akers & Alyssa Mangum
  • People’s Choice Award: Denee Kramer & Amy Flasher
  • Showstopper Award: Denee Kramer & Amy Flasher
  • Judge’s Choice Award: Amy Breitkreitz-Powell & Corrie Lemberg

Judges for the evening were:

  • Dr. Tracey Lopeman, superintendent, Maricopa Unified School District
  • Rep. Teresa Martinez, Arizona State Legislature
  • Christian Price, former mayor of Maricopa
