The wet and chilly winter is coming to a close.  

Monday marked the first day of spring, and its effects can be seen all around town, but especially on the outskirts. 

The superbloom is a phenomenon when a massive amount wildflowers bloom simultaneously, creating a vibrant explosion of color. 

The landscape along State Route 347 and SR 238 is now vibrant, including the yellow Globe Chamomile (Oncosiphon pilulifer) and the orange Globemallow (Sphaeralcea).
