Sun Corridor B&G clubs launch ‘most successful’ giving effort

Arizona Tax Credit contributions greatly help as a fundraiser to benefit Maricopa youths at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sun Corridor, the local chapter founded in 1998.

Matthew Lemberg, the executive director, calls the tax credit campaign “our most successful individual giving effort.”

The club’s fundraising campaign is now underway.

The deadline for making a tax credit contribution to the Boys & Girls Clubs is April 15.

Starting this tax year 2024, individual filers can contribute up to $470 and married couples filing jointly can contribute up to $938.

A tax deduction lowers your taxable income, reducing your tax liability. Claiming tax credits will increase the taxpayer’s refund by that amount.

Lemberg said it’s simple to contribute to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sun Corridor here.
