After a hot week, Maricopa is due to cool down slightly this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Today is sunny with an expected high of 96 degrees F. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Tonight will be clear with a low around 60 and continuing winds.

Friday is predicted to be sunny also, with a high near 88. The overnight low will be around 55.

Saturday, the forecast is similar with sunny skies and a high near 89 and calm winds. The nighttime low will likely be around 55.

Sunday, expect a high of 88 under sunny skies. The overnight low will be around 52.

From this distance, next week looks like more of the same, with highs in the low 90s and upper 80s.
