If you ever wanted to sleep in a sarcophagus, there’s a home nearby that might be just the right fit.

A sarcophagus is an ancient form of casket, most commonly seen in Egypt.

However, interested homebuyers do not need to go to Egypt to sleep in one of these ancient caskets. They can do so in this Hidden Valley gem.

This bed mimics an Egyptian sarcophagus.

The home for sale in Hidden Valley that boasts this unusual bed is commonly referred to as the pyramid house.

The pyramid home is flanked by two smaller storage pyramids, intended to give the area the look of the pyramids of the three kings of Egypt.

A path protected by two ferocious-looking stone lions leads visitors to the doorway of the non-traditional home that is guarded by two massive, golden King Tut statues.

All of this Egyptian décor, including the house, sits on 2.5 acres of land, which is included in the list price of $750,000.

The Egyptian-style home features a personal well. And its pyramid theme doesn’t end at the door. A step inside reveals the interior of the home, which sinks below the terrain.

An evaporative swamp cooler that hasn’t run in several weeks cools the home, and yet the temperature inside remains about 30 degrees below the Arizona heat just outside.

The listing agent for the home, who also lives in the area, said that the average electric bill for the home during the summer months is less than $100.

The 2,380-square-foot home contains three bedrooms, two-and-a half bathrooms and a work area.

Throughout the home, multiple staircases transport the potential buyer from room to room, but the most interesting feature hangs from its ceiling: the sarcophagus room.

Light peers down through four triangle-shaped windows on a sarcophagus-looking pedestal bed.

Outside, a balcony hangs off the backside of the pyramid giving potential buyers a view of the surrounding terrain.

The home also includes a fireplace, tile floors, stone accents and wood walls throughout.

The home is decorated with numerous theme-related antiques that are not included in the sales price, but could be added in for an additional fee if a potential buyer wants to include them.
