Two adults were found dead inside a home this morning after Maricopa police responded to a welfare check on Cypress Lane in Desert Cedars.
Officers arrived at the residence at approximately 11 a.m. this morning and discovered the bodies inside, according to a statement from the Maricopa Police Department spokesperson, Monica Williams.
Detectives have launched a death investigation. Authorities said the cause and manner of death are currently under review in coordination with the Pinal County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Police said there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the community but offered no further information about the deceased or the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
The identity of the homeowner is known to InMaricopa, but we’re withholding the information as the investigation is ongoing.
