Vice Mayor Rich Vitiello announced over the weekend he plans to run for the District 1 seat on the Pinal County Board of Supervisors.
Vitiello made the announcement before a meeting of the Republican Precinct Committee, saying he wants to bring “a sense of integrity” to the seat. The election will take place in 2024.
“I am a man of my word, and as committed as I have been to serving the City of Maricopa, I am just as committed to serving the people in Pinal County,” Vitiello said in a statement.
