Autumn temperatures seem to be in Maricopa to stay as the National Weather Service predicts high 70s and low 80s this week, with a bit of rain.

Today, Columbus Day, will be mostly sunny after Sunday’s rain, with a high near 77 degrees F. The night will be mostly clear with a low around 54.

Tuesday sees a sunny day with a high near 79. The overnight low is expected to be around 54 under clear skies.

Wednesday, too, has a sunny forecast with a near 82. The night should be mostly clear with a low around 57.

Thursday is expected to partly sunny with a high near 83 but with clouds moving in to create a 10-percent chance of rain after 11 a.m. A 40-percent chance of rain develops during the night, when the low should be around 62.

Friday is forecast to be mostly cloudy with a 40-percent chance of rain during the day and a high near 76. The nighttime low is expected to around 60, with a 30-percent chance of rain before 11 p.m.

The possibility for rain continues into the weekend, as do the mild temperatures.
