    The city’s primary election on March 9 will bring together a diverse group of people from different backgrounds and ideologies. While the candidates may disagree on the issues and the direction the city of Maricopa is going, what they have in common is a desire and passion to make a difference.

    To learn more about the mayoral and council candidates, be sure to attend the 2010 Maricopa Candidate Forum on Jan. 30, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the University of Arizona Agricultural Center, 37860 W. Smith Enke Road. The forum is sponsored by Maricopa’s major media outlets and the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce.
