‘Burn this whole b*tch down,’ says armed Wingstop customer in alleged staff stick-up

Maricopa police have transcribed audio tape from inside the Wingstop restaurant where a 35-year-old man is said to have held the staff at gunpoint in a fit of rage Friday night.

Alterra resident Byran Barcell Fedd reportedly threatened employees who denied him a refund just before 9:30 p.m., according to police reports released today.

Police officers said that witness footage of the incident showed Fedd producing a gun from the pocket of his cargo pants before “pointing it at all of the employees.”

Seven victims were named in the police report.

According to a transcript of the footage, Fedd said: “I’ll burn this whole b*tch down … I got a pipe on me right now. I’m with all that. Matter of fact, I’ll pull it right now … B*tch, come here! Who do you think you playin’ with … I’ll blow yo *ss off too … I’m a bang you! I’m a bang you somethin’ nasty shorty … I’m about that! I’m a bang you! I swear to God, I’m a bang you!”

Officers noted the word “pipe” is a slang term for a gun, similar to “pole,” another newfangled firearm euphemism Maricopa police identified in a recent murder case.

Police found Fedd across the street at Dignity Health Urgent Care and took him into custody. Reporters at the scene saw officers surrounding a convertible BMW, with Fedd in handcuffs on a bench outside the building. He was wearing a Dipper Pines hat from the Disney Channel children’s cartoon Gravity Falls.

The firearm has been recovered, police said.

Fedd was booked into the Pinal County jail on charges of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, threatening and intimidating, and endangerment. He faces more than six years in prison.
