A new Christian Brothers Automotive shop is planned for the corner of Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway and Stonegate Road, marking the first full-service auto repair facility along the booming corridor.

Ziad Kaakouch, president of Z & Co., the Cypress, Texas–based civil engineering firm overseeing the site, confirmed the location today.

The project was first revealed in a memo filed with the City of Maricopa June 19. The document outlines a 1.8-acre site that would house the nationally known repair chain, which offers diagnostics, brake work, suspension repairs and other mechanical services while excluding high-noise operations such as bodywork or tire recapping.

The plan would bring Houston-based Christian Brothers into a fast-growing retail zone that already includes a Jiffy Lube, a Fast & Friendly Car Wash and an Autozone, but no traditional repair shop. An O’Reilly Auto Parts is also planned for construction.

Christian Brothers, based in Houston, specializes in post-warranty vehicle repairs. While the company occasionally removes engines or transmissions for replacement, it subcontracts major rebuild work off-site to keep operations quieter and less disruptive.

No construction timeline has been announced.
