A second Maricopa Goodwill store is coming to the new Legacy on Porter retail development, according to public records obtained today by InMaricopa. The development is proposed for the northeast corner of Porter and Applegate Roads.

Phoenix-based Legacy Development Partners confirmed the first phase of the project will include a Goodwill store, another 6,500-square-foot retail space and a 2,500-square-foot drive-thru restaurant.

This is the first official confirmation of tenants at the site since updated development plans were submitted in February. An earlier version of the proposal had suggested a “low-cost neighborhood market.”

The Goodwill would occupy a 25,000-square-foot building, featuring a drop-off zone to the north and a large main entrance along the western wall. The unnamed drive-thru restaurant is shown with space for a pick-up window and outdoor seating.

No name or tenant was listed for the second retail space, though it will include a “large storefront glazing, a primary entry canopy and multiple tenant entries.”

While additional tenants have not been named, the developer has previously worked with a portfolio of restaurants and retailers, including Panera Bread, Chipotle, Shake Shack, T.J. Maxx and Hobby Lobby.
