Slain pedestrian hit ‘multiple times,’ state seeks public’s help

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is seeking the public’s help in a crash that killed a pedestrian on State Route 347 last night. 

State troopers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle just south of Casa Blanca Road in the northbound lanes at 8:45 p.m., AZDPS spokesperson Raul Garcia Jr. told InMaricopa this morning.  

“The pedestrian was hit by multiple vehicles and was pronounced dead at the scene,” Garcia said.  

InMaricopa has asked the authorities why the pedestrian as in the roadway and whether or not this is a hit-and-run investigation.
