Do you love dance? Do you love the movies? Do you love the idea of supporting the Arts and small business in the city of Maricopa? Then we have an event for you!!

Desert Sun Performing Arts is excited to announce their 13th annual dance recital “A Night at the Movies.”
This exciting and entertaining event, hosted by the DSPA Gems Inc., will showcase some of the most talented young dancers in the city performing to the music from your favorite movies .

Two shows will take place Saturday, June 8, at Maricopa High School’s Performing Arts Center. 45012 W. Honeycutt Ave  There will be two shows. The first show will be held at 1 p.m. which will feature DSPA’s youngest dancers and competitive team. The second show begins at 5:30 p.m. Tickets available at the box office for $23 each, one hour prior to show start.

In addition to “A Night at the Movies”, there will be a choreography showcase featuring “ONYX” contemporary company.  This performance is nestled between student shows and begins at 3:30 pm. Teens and young adults will compete their choreography for cash prizes. The event is sponsored by Maricopa Arts Council and Desert Sun Performing Arts. Ticket available at the door for $7 each.
