Ring in the holiday season with us this Friday at Copper Sky Regional Park for our first-ever Merry Movies Under the Stars! The event will feature 5:30 and 7:45 p.m. screenings of hit classics Elf and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). Guests will receive fresh popcorn and take-home cookie decorating kits courtesy of generous event sponsors Helen’s Kitchen and Catering and Propel Church.

The evening will be warmly lit with three glowing hot air balloons. At 7:30 p.m., Mayor Christian Price, councilmembers and a “special visitor” will officially light the city’s Christmas tree, followed by a fireworks display. Local goods and service vendors and food trucks will also be onsite for guests to visit.

Merry Movies Under the Stars is free, however registration IS required for the movies to ensure the event follows CDC-recommended guidelines for social distancing.
