Native American Family Night

MUSD’s Native American Education Program and their parent advisory committee (NAPAC) are hosting their program’s end of the year Family Night. The event will be a packed full of cultural experiences and celebration. The main entertainment will be Yellowhouse, a Navajo Nation dance group who have won several Native dance competitions. Also performing at the event will be Ak-Chin’s Ba’ban Keina dancers. NAPAC will also be honoring Maricopa High School Native American graduates at the event.  This is a free event and will be held on May 9th at Maricopa High School’s Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 6pm, seating is limited. All Native American tribal communities are welcomed to come gather and celebrate with NAPAC. “Tradition is our Past, Present and our Future”
