Harbor Freight will be opening its doors to the public next week, just a little before the original anticipated opening date.
The hardware store announced the launch with a sign on its door advertising it would be open for business Tuesday. The shelves have already been filled with power tools, generators and jacks in preparation for the grand opening.
The Calabasas, Calif.-based company announced it would be coming to Maricopa Sept. 11. There was then $325,000 worth of renovations done to the former 99 Cents Only store at 44515 W. Edison Rd.
The location was a mix of everything the company wanted, spokesperson Donna Walker told InMaricopa then. It has good visibility, ample parking and the right square footage.
The nearest existing location is about 20 miles away in Casa Grande.
InMaricopa has contacted Harbor Freight for comment.
