Nando’s Mexican Café yesterday announced plans to begin serving hungry Maricopans on March 26, according to Director of Operations Marijka Anderson.

The Mexican restaurant previously estimated its grand opening for early March, but construction delays setback that timeline.

In recent weeks, Maricopa residents on social media speculated Nando’s opening day to occur as early as this weekend, but Anderson squashed that rumor.

“We are not opening next week; it will be the week after, on March 26,” she told InMaricopa.
