Sprouts Farmers Market has announced an opening date for its long-awaited 23,000-square-foot store in Sonoran Creek Marketplace.

The grocer announced Friday that construction will finish soon on the market and the hiring of about 100 full- and part-time workers will begin in just weeks.

A grand opening celebration is set for August 25 at 7 a.m., the company said in a news release. Details about the event will be announced later.

Sprouts will host a virtual hiring event on July 14 and 15, and those interested in positions at the new store should visit sprouts.com/careers to view openings and apply. Employment opportunities include department managers, assistant department managers and clerks (produce, vitamins and body care, meat and seafood, deli, grocery and bakery), cashiers and courtesy clerks.
