One person was injured in a crash on John Wayne Parkway and Cobblestone Farms Drive this afternoon, affecting the flow of southbound traffic just at the start of rush hour.
Emergency crews responded to the call around 2:30 p.m. for a crash in the centermost lane, according to city spokesperson Monica Williams. Although Maricopa Fire and Medical evaluated one person for injuries, they were not transported to a hospital.
By 3:15 p.m., crews began to clear the scene.
