Maricopa Police officers responded to a near drowning of an 11-month-old child Friday at about 7:20 p.m. in the 18100 block of N. Alicia Court in Glennwilde.
Upon arrival, officers and paramedics found the parents attempting CPR on the unresponsive child who had been face down in the water in a bathtub. The child was airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix and is listed in critical condition.
Maricopa Police detectives are investigating the incident.
