Have plans in the Valley this weekend? Maricopa residents can expect closures in the East Valley and north Phoenix to impact travel plans. 

ADOT recommends allowing extra travel time and planning detour routes amid weekend restrictions.  

Eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) will be closed between I-10 and Loop 101 (Price Freeway) from 9 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement improvements.  

The I-10 ramp to eastbound U.S. 60 will be closed.  

As a detour, drivers can use eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) to northbound Loop 101. Drivers can also use eastbound Baseline or Broadway roads. 

Westbound I-10 ramp to SR 143 will be closed from 10 p.m. today to 7 p.m. Saturday for the I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project.  

The northbound University Drive ramp to SR 143 will also be closed.  

Westbound drivers looking to access Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport can exit at 24th Street, then continue on westbound I-10 to access Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway). 

Southbound I-17 will be closed between Loop 101 and Thunderbird Road from 9 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement improvements. 

The following will be closed: 

  • Loop 101 ramps to southbound I-17 
  • Southbound I-17 ramps at Pinnacle Peak and Deer Valley roads 

Drivers can use eastbound Loop 101 to southbound SR 51 as a detour. Drivers on southbound I-17 can also exit ahead of the closure and use southbound 19th Avenue.
