The city of Maricopa issued business licenses to four companies in the past week.
Permits are necessary for all businesses headquartered locally or outside of Maricopa to do business within city limits, and are valid for one year.
Three of the permits were for local companies and one was for a Valley-based venture. The local companies receiving permits were Chowansky Motors, Valley Promotions and Sunbelt Home Watch Services.
The Valley business receiving a permit was Alpha Bell LLC.
