4 teenagers arrested for felony aggravated criminal damage

The Maricopa Police Department responded to a report that a tractor had been driven through a block wall to the area of Liles and Cahill Drive around 4:15 p.m. Thursday. Witnesses observed four male teenagers running from the scene.

When Maricopa Police Officers arrived at the scene, they found a large construction forklift had been driven through a block wall. Officers also located a new home under construction that was struck by the forklift, resulting in extensive damage to its framing, plumbing several trusses that were destroyed.

The estimate of damages in the case is over $20,000.

The four teenage juveniles were detained and later charged with felony aggravated criminal damage.
