The Arizona Workforce Connection will host a job fair at Harrah’s Ak-Chin on July 22 for Maricopa residents looking for work.
“We have 51 vendors who have confirmed for the job fair,” Arizona Workforce Connection business service liaison Linda Martinez said. “The jobs will range from Manufacturing to Education, Law Enforcement, Health Care, Behavioral Health Technicians and much more.”
Arizona Workforce Connection has reached out to a wide variety of employers hoping to get around 40 companies to attend. The 51 vendors who have signed on have surpassed their goals and allow members of the community to see a much wider range of available work.
This will be the first job fair AWC is hosting in the city of Maricopa. They have conducted similar events around the state, including the Pinal County job fair in Casa Grande the last two years.
