85239.com Open Forum members host meet-and-greet at Ramsey’s American Grill

How does one meet people and make friends in a new city? Some residents of Maricopa have found the Open Forum on inmaricopa.com to be a great way to communicate, network, meet their neighbors and learn about what’s happening around the community.

Last Sunday afternoon several members of the forum got together for a chance to finally meet some of those new friends face to face.

The forum party, organized by Kerry Wilmerding, was a great success. Hosted at Ramsey’s American Grill, the event welcomed more than 45 people, including forum members and their families.

“The forum is so important as an opportunity to start meeting people and learning about the community,” said Wilmerding. “It’s so interesting how you can click with people you’ve never met. I am so happy that everyone had a good time. It really was brilliant to be able to put a face to a name after all this time of posting!”

“The inmaricopa.com forum has helped me make some close friends in Maricopa. It was great to finally have the opportunity to meet more of the faces behind the screen names. Kerry and Ramsey’s did an awesome job,” said forum member Kristen Carr.

In a follow up to the party, forum members went back online to post messages of appreciation and many compliments to Wilmerding and Ramsey’s for such a great event. “We’ll do it again,” says Wilmerding.
