Iconic Tire & Service Center opened its doors for the first time Monday at 19945 N. John Wayne Parkway.

Part of the Goodyear Tire family, Iconic Tire has a full range of auto repair services.

“”We’re excited, can’t wait,” manager Josh Darrow said. “It’s exciting being home in my hometown and service all the community. It’s awesome.”

The newly developed area known in city paperwork as Maricopa Town Plaza is southeast of the corner of John Wayne Parkway and Hathaway Avenue. Rili-B’s has also opened next door, and an animal hospital is being built.

Iconic Tire had its challenges in getting construction underway.

“COVID-19 was one of the biggest ones that and having the bridge built right before us getting there were big obstacles,” Darrow said. “We had to overcome to get it here, but we’re here and excited.”
