Maricopa Police Department released body camera footage of a house party where 16 people were arrested earlier this year.
Police responded to a vacant home in The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado Jan. 22, according to a probable cause statement.
Officers arrested six adults aged 18 to 20: Demani L. Spivey, Desmond S. Lewis, Kenyon G. Womack, Kevin K. Sias, Keyaun D. Christian and LaBron Peace. Ten children were also arrested — the youngest was 15.
Just six days after police crashed the party, InMaricopa submitted a public records request for all footage of response. After more than 10 months, the request has been fulfilled.
The footage shows officers entering the home and placing teens in custody. Womack tried to flee when he was tased in the garage. Four teens were found trying to jump out of the backyard.
Christian, Peace, Spivey and Womack were booked into the Pinal County jail on suspicion of first-degree trespassing and resisting arrest, according to the probable cause statement
Lewis and Sias were arrested and booked on suspicion of first-degree trespassing, resisting arrest and misconduct involving weapons.
Sias faced an additional charge of underage possession of marijuana, the probable cause statement said. Underage on this charge refers to those who are younger than 21.
