AC company trying to help 20 families in need

Sun Devil Heating and Cooling General Manager Jason Clayton is looking to provide up to $1,000 of services to 20 Maricopa families in need.

Clayton has been conducting similar community outreach programs in the Northwest Valley but wanted to adjust his focus to the city he calls home. As the temperatures increase and air conditioners start to break down, Clayton knows that not all families have the means to fix them. However, he also believes that shouldn’t mean they can’t get it fixed.

“There’s a great deal of residents who live paycheck to paycheck,” Clayton said. “We want to be able to help them. They allow us to earn their business now, and in the future.”

The perception of air conditioning technicians isn’t always viewed in a positive light. This is a perception Clayton would like to change. Clayton stated that he doesn’t want to buy anyone’s trust; he simply wants to earn it.

Getting involved in the outreach program is relatively easy for families in need. Each family (or friends of the family) simply needs to reach out to Sun Devil and let them know they need help. After answering a few pre-qualification questions, the company will provide up to $1,000 in repairs and labor.
