Christmas Day is rapidly approaching and some Maricopans are one step away from making Christmas merry for many of their neighbors.
Fry’s Marketplace and inmaricopa.com put up an “angel tree” at the store soliciting help in providing Christmas gifts for needy children in the area (see “Fry’s, 85239 soliciting Christmas gifts for needy“). And Fry’s shoppers responded, grabbing each ornament and pledging to buy the gift listed on it.
Tomorrow is the deadline for those generous Maricopans to turn in the new, unwrapped toys, books and clothes to the inmaricopa.com office at 19756 N. John Wayne Parkway, Suite 100. The gifts will be wrapped and delivered to the needy families Monday.
